Autumn is here, and the weather is turning—it’s getting colder, and the time for bundling up with a warm sweater in front of the fire is upon us.
It’s also time for warm drinks—such as apple cider and pumpkin spiced lattes, haunted hayrides, corn mazes, all things spooky, and of course, pumpkin picking.
Here are the top farms to visit in Southern Ontario.
Located on Innis Lake Rd in Caledon, Albion Orchards has tons of gourds and pumpkins that will be perfect to adorn your front porch.
Whether you’re looking for a pumpkin to use for a tasty, festive soup; or you want to make a delicious pumpkin pie; or maybe you want to roast and salt the seeds for a delicious, seasonal snack; or maybe you want to show off your artistic side and carve a spooky Jack-‘o’-lantern that will terrify (and impress) all your neighbours.

Located in Uxbridge Ontario, this farm has plenty of fun fall activities for the whole family to enjoy. You can walk through a trail of sunflowers that are eight to 12 feet tall; you can test your navigation skills against the corn maze; you can visit some of the farm animals; you can go for a wagon ride; you can pick out plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables including: strawberries, peas, raspberries, tomatoes, and of course—pumpkins.

Located on Side Road in Milton, Andrew’s Scenic Acres offers lots of tasty wines to try, as well as fun activities for the family to enjoy.
Enjoy plenty of activities including tractor rides, a fall photo display, farm animals to visit, a straw mountain climb, a haunted forest to try and survive, and plenty of pumpkins to pick.

Located on Heart Lake Rd in Inglewood, Downey’s Farm offers plenty of family-friendly activities throughout the fall.
The beginning of fall marks the beginning of Pumpkin Fest at Downey’s which offers plenty of activities for families to enjoy: you can go for a wagon ride, enjoy some live entertainment, visit some of the farm animals, test your skills against an eight-acre corn maze, pick up a bottle (or two) of cranberry wine, and of course, pick your own pumpkin.

Located on Bell School Line in Milton, Springridge farm has plenty of activities throughout the fall for families to enjoy.
They offer plenty of activities for all ages. There’s a professional puppet show; there’s a wagon ride that will take you to the five-acre corn trail; there are pony rides for an additional charge; and there is a weekend BBQ that serves hot dogs, sausages, apple chips, and a special meal for kids.
