$15 lunches on offer at food destination in Toronto

A Toronto food hub is offering a special deal this month—$15 lunches.
The Waterworks Food Hall, known as a key downtown spot for foodies, is bringing together 18 of the city’s top food artisans for a $15 lunch special, a spokesperson said.
“Toronto winters are long and cold, but lunch doesn’t have to be,” the spokesperson said.
The diverse range of options includes arepas, pad Thai, ramen, tacos and poutine. Every option is $15 or less.
The affordable lunch options, all under one roof, are available Feb. 13 to March 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Here are the deals:
- Boxcar Social, $7.95 for any brunch sandwich
- Aburi Sushi, $9 for a tuna belly and scallion handroll
- Bello Pizza, $10 for a rotating flavour of a single large slice and your choice of dip
- Scooped by Demetres, $11.95 for a pint of ice cream
- Harry’s Charbroiled, $14.49 for a classic jane and a small fries or onion rings
- The Arepa Republic, $15 for Venezuelan pulled pork, grated cheddar, garlic mayo
- Darna Middle Eastern Kitchen, $15 for a choice of chicken and garlic sauce or kebab (beef) and tahini sauce both with fresh and pickled vegetables
- Emilia, $15 for a grilled chicken sandwich with a small classic poutine
- Hanoi Bites, $15 for a choice of chicken, pork, or duo of both, fresh boiled Vietnamese rice noodles with house-made pickled carrots, cucumbers, cilantro, and umami (nuoc cham) sauce.
- Indian Street Food Co, $15 for tandoori chicken buddha bowl with two vegetable spring rolls with tamarind chutney (substitute paneer for veg option)
- Liu Loqum Atelier, $15 for 250 gram baklava
- Musoshin Ramen, $15 for Mushoshin ramen and spicy pork don
- Otto’s Berlin Döner, $15 for a choice of chicken, halloumi, or gemuse with fries
- Rasta Pasta, $15 for Jamaica Mi Crazy Meal with chicken, rice and coleslaw
- Soi Thaifoon, $15 for classic Pad Thai with your choice of protein
- Taco Lupita, $15 for any two tacos with a side portion of house-made guacamole and corn chips

- Union Chicken, $15 for OG fried chicken sandwich with triple-cooked fries and piri piri mayo
The Waterworks Food Hall, at 50 Brant St. (near Spadina and Richmond), is open Sunday to Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Thursday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m.
