A Turkish restaurant has opened a new location in Toronto.
Meetpoint, which has a long history in Waterloo, Ontario, opened a new location in Roncesvalles last month.
Boasting the “most authentic Turkish cuisine”, Meetpoint specializes in beef, lamb and chicken kebabs, as well as inegol kofte, a Turkish meatball.
The menu also includes lahmacun, a super thin, crispy pizza, and pides, baked dough stuffed with meat or vegetables.
There are Turkish desserts such as the Şekerpare, a type of cookie, and baklava, and Turkish coffee and latte drinks.
Meetpoint had a location in Waterloo from 2009 to 2015, and reopened in the city in 2020.
The focus is not only on food.
“We like to engage our guests in genuine conversations, and offer them great service,” the restaurant says on their website. “Our hope is to fill Meetpoint with joy, laughter and love at all times, and create a space to get everyone together to take delight in delicious food.”
The Toronto location is at 89 Roncesvalles Ave., which was previously Simply Social, a cafe and market.
