While temperatures climb and the forecast blends sunshine with the chance of rain, Mississauga is rolling out a weekend too good to miss. From halal food festivals and cultural galas to farmers’ markets, dance showcases and family bike rides, the city comes alive with outdoor energy, vibrant experiences, and the spirit of summer in full swing.

Here are some events happening from June 13 to June 15:

June 13

Handi Mississauga Halal Food Festival

The 12th Annual Handi Mississauga Halal Food Festival is back for a two-day event.

Guests can enjoy food stalls, live entertainment from local and international performers, giveaways, contests and kids’ activities in a family-friendly setting.

A City in Tune

This exhibition celebrates Mississauga’s diverse musical landscape, spotlighting the voices, cultures and communities that have shaped the city’s sound. Through artifacts, stories and interactive experiences, visitors can explore how music builds identity, inspires connection and tells the evolving story of the city.

Presented in partnership with the University of Toronto’s Master of Museum Studies program.

Love To Dance 2025 Annual Dance Recital

Join CP School of Music for an evening of rhythm, passion, and creativity at the annual Love to Dance recital. Students of all ages will take the stage to showcase their talent in a range of styles including graceful ballet to high-energy hip-hop and expressive jazz routines.

Momentum 2025

Part of the Festival of Time, Momentum 2025 is a one-hour performance celebrating South Asian dance, presented by Sampradaya Dance Creations.

Discounts are available for seniors (65+), students and art workers. Complimentary tickets are available for infants (0–12 months) and support persons. Individuals interested in attending are asked to contact the ticket office for more information.

Blooms & Berries Festival 2025

Enjoy a free outdoor market full of local charm — shop handmade, homegrown and heartfelt.

Inspired by Clarkson Village’s history as the strawberry capital of Ontario, the Blooms & Berries Festival offers food samples, crafts and self-guided tours of Benares Historic House.

Local artists and artisans will be on-site selling a range of unique, made-in-Mississauga products. Non-perishable food donations will be accepted for the Compass Food Bank.

Applewood Community Ride

Hop on your bike and explore Applewood with a guided Community Ride through trails, parks and neighbourhood streets. Starting at Garnetwood Park, riders can choose from an 8 km or 16 km route designed for all skill levels.

CHE 2025 is Canada’s premier celebration of halal lifestyle, food, and culture. This two-day event brings together halal-conscious consumers, culinary enthusiasts, and families for an immersive experience featuring a halal food market, artisanal vendors, live entertainment, workshops, and stage shows.

With a dedicated kids’ zone full of rides and games, there’s something for all ages to enjoy. CHE 2025 takes place in Rink 4 and parking lots A3 and A4 at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre.

Leiʻala Dance School presents an afternoon of Polynesian dance and culture in their 7th Annual Hōʻike. Experience the beauty and spirit of Hawai‘i and Tahiti through traditional and contemporary Hula and Ori performances by students of all ages.

The Lakeview Farmers’ & Artisan Market is a Sunday staple for fresh, local, and seasonal finds — all set in Mississauga’s historic Small Arms Inspection Building near the waterfront.

Shoppers can browse organic produce, artisan foods, and handmade goods. There will also be live music and family-friendly activities to enjoy.

Yoga with Your Child
