International retail sensation opens new store in Toronto

An international retail sensation has just opened a new location in Toronto.

Earlier this month, Chinese mega variety chain Miniso launched its first-ever location with street access in Ontario, anchored to the massive CF Don Mills Shopping Centre in North York.

Dialing in at 4,000 square feet, the Don Mills Miniso location has been designed from the ground up to supply the city with a space that “transcends traditional retail boundaries,” as stated by a release from the company.

The storefront includes all of the products it has become known for nationwide, including plush toys, blind boxes (think surprise collection of products), and a massive line-up of makeup and skincare brands.

According to company representatives, the new location also emphasizes Minso’s ‘shop and play’ philosophy, as numerous corners feature claw machines, arcade games, and other fun-packed areas designed with interaction and socialization in mind.

The new Don Mills location is also the first Miniso storefront of its kind in Canada to offer an ice cream section, adding extra flair to the already existing atmosphere of leisure and social mingling.
