CLOSURE: Salad restaurant has closed its doors in Toronto

A restaurant for salads and other wholesome fare recently shut down in Toronto.
Pulse Salad & Restaurant originally opened in 2022 and served salads that combined global influences and flavours. The restaurant was named for their “pulse” ingredients, the edible seeds from a legume plant such as beans, chickpeas and lentils.
The restaurant took to social media to announce that they would no longer be operating.
“We will be closing,” Pulse wrote in a social media post. “Although this is not how we expected Pulse to conclude, we thoroughly enjoyed our time.”

There are lots of comments on the post from people saying they’re sorry to hear the news, and that their great salads and healthy options will be missed in the community.
Up until closing, the east end restaurant located at 821 Gerrard St. sold off items like plates, appliances, furniture and art.
The last day for Pulse Salad & Restaurant was May 30.
